After BBL surgery, the patient is encouraged to stand and walk within 4 hours. It is crucial to stay active to avoid compressing the fat cells. Special compression garments are worn, and patients are advised to sit on specialized pillows for 6 weeks. While complete avoidance of sitting on the buttocks is not required, minimizing pressure on the area is important. In the first 2-3 days, patients may experience mild pain and swelling, followed by a quick recovery to normal life.

Rapid and excessive weight gain can cause fat grafts to behave like any other fat cells and enlarge. Similarly, significant weight loss can cause fat cells to shrink. Minor weight fluctuations do not affect the results.

Compression garments are recommended for at least 3 weeks for the liposuction areas, with active lymphatic massages aiding recovery. Special pillows for sitting should be used for 6 weeks, and patients are shown specific sleeping positions to minimize contact with the buttocks. The less contact, the better the results.

Unlike many surgeries, pain after this procedure is minimal. Patients mostly feel pressure in the first few days and can quickly return to their daily lives.
