Temporal Lift


Temporal lift is a surgical procedure performed with an incision 2 cm inside the temple hairline, aimed at lifting the deep tissues for patients who complain of a sad, tired expression and droopy face. It can sometimes be combined with an upper eyelid lift or midface lift (performed through the mouth), with scars that are relatively hidden.

The procedure will take approximately 1 hour.

You will stay in the hospital for observation for 1 night after surgery. Significant swelling and bruising around the eyes are expected on days 2, 3, and 4. By days 4-5, swelling and bruising will start to subside. For the first two weeks, the eyes may appear tighter than expected, and asymmetries may occur. After 2 weeks, returning to social life will be easier.

No surgery can be called permanent, but this procedure involves tightening and repositioning deep tissues, making the effect long-lasting. Factors such as skin quality, environment, self-care, nutrition, habits, sleep, and genetics play a significant role in how long the results last. Over time, the skin will naturally loosen again, but the effects of the surgery are expected to age gracefully with you.

The incision is planned approximately 2.5 cm behind the hairline at the temple, parallel to the hairline.

The temporal lift affects the lifting of the outer brows, changing the eye's angle (almond or cat-eye shape), and lifting the upper cheek area.

Midface Lift


In this surgery performed through the mouth, all midface (cheek and cheekbone) tissues are lifted upward and obliquely from the bone plane. The bone plane technique minimizes damage to nerves and blood vessels. Midface lift aims to correct a tired and sagging facial expression, and it is suitable for young and middle-aged patients with sagging under the eyes, chin line, and prominent nasolabial folds. Often combined with temporal and neck lifts, buccal fat can also be removed or repositioned in suitable patients.


When the face is divided into upper, middle, and lower parts, the most neglected area is the midface region. Midface surgery is particularly effective for patients with sagging cheeks but without significant neck sagging. Since our technique is performed entirely through an incision inside the mouth, there are no incisions or scars under the eyes or in front of the ears or hairline.

It is ideal for patients with sagging cheeks, an extended distance between the lower eyelid and the cheek, and prominent nasolabial folds. It is not suitable for patients with overall sagging, particularly in the lower third of the face.

Midfacelift surgery is often combined with a temporal lift. A 2.5 cm incision is made through the hairline in the temple region, and a 1 cm incision is made inside the mouth above the upper teeth. All the tissues in between are released from the bone plane, and any bands or depressions in the midface, lower eyelid, and cheekbone area are freed. The tissues are surgically pulled upward and obliquely. There are no surgical incisions around the ears or the lower eyelid.

Absolutely yes; it can be safely performed, especially on young patients with genetic tissue deficiency or sagging in the midface cheek area.

The main impact will be on the jawline, particularly in patients with good skin quality and without significant skin sagging. For patients with prominent swelling in the lower face, repositioning (not removing) buccal fat may lead to more effective results.

The recovery process is demanding. For the first 7 days, you will need to maintain a liquid diet and strict oral care. Due to the surgical technique, you will experience numbness around the upper lip and nose. Expect pressure around the cheeks for the first 2-3 days and headaches in the first week. Patients with previous procedures or fillers may experience prolonged swelling. We recommend setting aside 2 weeks for full recovery. You will be provided with detailed recovery guidelines after surgery.

The stitches inside the mouth and hairline are self-dissolving. There is no need for removal.

Deep Plane Facelift


Many techniques have been defined for facelift and neck lift surgeries. The technique we most commonly use in practice is not only about tightening the skin but also involves releasing the deep structures under the skin, known as SMAS, which loosen due to age or genetics. The SMAS is completely released and pulled diagonally towards the neck and behind the ears.


By tightening the subcutaneous structures, more natural and long-lasting results can be achieved. This surgery is particularly suitable for patients with significant skin excess and sagging. The incisions start from the hairline in the temple area, follow the natural crease in front of the ear, and hide behind the ear and into the hairline.

This technique is preferred because it not only tightens the skin but also releases and tightens the underlying SMAS layer, which is the real cause of sagging, resulting in more natural contours and avoiding an overly tight skin appearance. With this technique, a defined jawline and dynamic facial structure can be achieved, especially when combined with midface lifting. Since there is no excessive tension on the skin, the scars are less noticeable.

For the first 2 or 3 days, we provide accommodation in a private room in our hospital to ensure your comfort and close observation. During this period, you can easily walk, go to the bathroom, and fulfill your nutritional needs. A feeling of tightness in the face and especially in the neck is common during the first 3-5 days. Less bleeding and swelling are expected compared to other facelift techniques. The first dressing will be removed before discharge, and then light compression garments are used for the first 7 days. After discharge, you can shower and wash your face and hair.

These surgeries are risky for patients who smoke or have smoked heavily in the past, those with rheumatologic diseases, hypertension, diabetes (DM), or bleeding disorders. The frequency of complications increases for these patients. Most importantly, patients who have had permanent or temporary thread lifts, undergone heat-based or energy-based facial treatments, or previous surgeries should be evaluated in more detail.

In deep plane facelift surgery, depending on the patient's needs, the scars are hidden in the natural folds starting from the temple area, behind the ears, and planned along the hairline behind the ears. When performed along natural folds, scars will fade over time. In some rare cases, hypertrophic scars or keloids may occur. Genetic predispositions and environmental factors (sun exposure, smoking, frequent makeup) can influence scarring. We recommend all scar-reducing creams.

To speed up recovery after a facelift, we frequently recommend and administer HBO (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) following discharge. We recommend undergoing HBO therapy for 1 hour daily for 5-7 days after discharge.

We will follow up with you using a thick compression garment for the first 3 days. After the 3rd day, a thinner and lighter compression garment will be used for 4-8 hours a day. After the 10th day, there will be no need for further use of a compression garment.

As with all surgeries, blood-thinning medications should be stopped 3 weeks before the procedure after consulting the anesthesiologist. Any additional diseases, allergies, etc. should be reported to the anesthesiologist. Stopping smoking at least 6 weeks before surgery is essential for face-lift procedures as it greatly affects the surgical process and wound healing.

Face and neck lift surgery is one of the most satisfying procedures, where the sagging facial skin around the jawline and loose neck skin, often caused by age or genetics, is corrected through incisions made in front of and behind the ear, restoring the supporting structures beneath the skin. The skin itself will not experience a quality increase, as this surgery is for lifting, while skin renewal is a combined procedure that can follow.

The preferred time for the procedure is during the fall and winter months when the effects of cold weather and sun exposure are minimal. However, it can also be done in the summer with proper precautions.

As with all surgeries, there will be scarring. However, unlike common belief, these scars are hidden in natural folds, especially in front of and behind the ears. Over time, scars along the hairline will also become less noticeable. Scarring depends on the patient's skin quality, genetic factors, and external influences (smoking, sun exposure, etc.).

Face and neck lift surgeries are generally performed under local anesthesia with sedation or, depending on patient preference, under general anesthesia. After local anesthesia, patients typically stay for 1 night, while those under general anesthesia stay at least 2 nights in the hospital. Special bandages and drains are applied for the first 2-3 days. Significant swelling and bruising are inevitable in the first 10 days.

Generally, 5 days of rest at home is recommended after a facelift surgery, especially to avoid raising blood pressure and to stay away from external factors. A general rest period of 3 weeks is advised, after which you can return to social life.

In facial surgeries, tissue adaptation takes longer. Swelling and edema are more noticeable in the first month, but healing continues between 6 to 12 months. Initially tight skin will gradually loosen and feel more comfortable after healing.

After surgery, avoid smoking, any activity that increases blood pressure, and unhealthy foods. It can be harmful to massage healing tissues excessively, expose them to heat, or perform intense activities too early.

Brow Lift / Forehead Lift


In patients who genetically have low brow structure or those with drooping in the middle or outer ends of the brows, different from a temporal lift, the brows are surgically lifted from under the periosteum (bone membrane) through four small incisions in the scalp, without any intervention to the eyes, according to the patient’s anatomical structure.


In this procedure, the aim is mostly to enhance the appearance of the eyes without altering their structure. The tissues around the eyes are moved away, and the brow is lifted. Most often, the procedure is combined with the surgical filing of the outer walls of the eyes (which are often overly prominent and palpable in many people), resulting in a more effective and sharper gaze. The brows are more effectively raised with the bone shaving technique.

Initially, all forehead muscles will not work for 6-8 weeks, and asymmetries can be observed due to muscle movement during this time. You may feel numbness in the middle of the scalp, but this is temporary. The brows may appear overly raised initially, but this will normalize within 3-4 weeks as the muscles start working. You will be monitored with bandages for the first 7 days, and some irregularities or pulling in the skin may occur, which are completely temporary. The final result is achieved within 8-12 weeks.
